What if I run out of space?
Only attachment files count towards your space; text does not. When you run out, new files won’t upload until you free some up (for example by emptying the trash) or switch to Papeer 100 GB.
Can I change my plan?
Any time in Settings → Plan. The change applies straight away: when you move up, Paddle charges only the difference until the end of the period; when you move down, it credits it to your next payment. You can move down if your files and documents fit.
What if I cancel my subscription?
It runs until the end of the paid period and won’t renew. After that you can keep reading and exporting your notes; writing needs a new subscription. Your account can be deleted no sooner than after 90 days, and you’ll always get an email 7 days before.
Prices include VAT. The seller is Paddle; you enter your card only in its window, Papeer never sees it. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period and you can cancel any time. Within 14 days of a payment we’ll give you your money back, no questions asked. The first 14 days are free, no card needed. Details in the Terms.

What happens after 14 days?
You can still read and export your notes. Writing comes back with a subscription. Nothing is deleted without an email first.
Can anyone see my notes?
Text and files on the server are encrypted with your account’s key. You share only what you send by link yourself.
Can I get my notes out?
Any time. Exporting your whole account is one button, and you get plain Markdown with your files.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Keep writing; changes are sent when you’re back online.
Is Papeer also a desktop app?
Today it’s an app from the browser on phone and computer. Apps from the Microsoft Store (Windows) and Google Play (Android) are on the way; how to install Papeer today is on the Apps page.
